‘When I start with designing a new project, I always need a narrative that I believe,’ says Oscar-winning set designer Shona Heath, who has created a Surrealist tableau vivant composed of new fabric collections for The World of Interiors October 2024 issue. Finding inspiration by the (iambic) metre in Lewis Carroll’s ‘The Walrus and the Carpenter’, Shona conjures her own looking-glass world where nothing is quite what it seems.
